During the current Covid-19 pandemic we briefly suspended our courses and used this as a time to review and improve our courses. We are pleased to announce we are now operating our full schedule of courses and have in place a fully compliant Covid-19 working procedure. We are looking forward to welcoming you onto our new fully revamped and improved courses, including our innovative Metal to Metal 2 course as a follow on from our original Metal to Metal Course.

Aeroskills has been providing training in aircraft composite repair and allied subjects since 1992. The training is specifically designed to meet the requirements of practising maintenance staff in the aircraft industry.

Our courses have been developed over a period of 30 years in co-operation with educational establishments and aerospace organisations.

We offer scheduled courses throughout the year as well as tailor made courses to customers' specifications.

Training takes place at the fully equipped workshops at North Composites Engineering in Wigan, Lancashire or can be conducted in any suitable workshop facility either in the UK or abroad.

We offer consultancy on all aspects of composites technology.

It is important to note that our training is not product based and we do not promote any specific product. All training is based on the repair methods currently specified by aircraft manufacturers. Delegates will use a wide variety of materials including carbon (graphite), aramid (Kevlar) and glass fabrics and pre-pregs, epoxy resins, Nomex and aluminium honeycombs. Equipment from a range of manufacturers is used during the practical sessions including hot bonders, vacuum bagging equipment and a number of material preparation tools.

Delegates will gain the knowledge necessary to make informed choices between all the approved products currently available.

Among our customers are major commercial airlines, third party maintenance companies worldwide, national air forces including the maintenance staff for the Eurofighter Typhoon and aircraft manufacturers.
